Hezbollah changes its tactics of anti-Israeli actions — deputy leader
According to Naim Qassem, in compliance with these "new tactics," Hezbollah is delivering strikes on Tel Aviv, Haifa and other Israeli territories "further from Haifa"
BEIRUT, October 15. /TASS/. Hezbollah will focus on doing as much harm as possible to Israel as a new fighting tactic, Hezbollah’s deputy leader Naim Qassem said.
"We have made a decision about new tactics of causing pain to the enemy," the Al Mayadeen television channel quoted him as saying.
According to Qassem, in compliance with these "new tactics," Hezbollah is delivering strikes on Tel Aviv, Haifa and other Israeli territories "further from Haifa."
The only way to settle this situation, in his words, if for Israel to cease hostilities. Otherwise, Hezbollah will continue attacking "the enemy troops, places of their deployment and barracks."
Israel has been delivering massive airstrikes on Hezbollah military targets in Lebanon since September 23, when it launched Operation Northern Arrows. Israel’s declared goal is to create safe conditions in the country’s northern areas so that tens of thousands of local residents could return to their homes. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was reportedly killed in Israel’s strike on Beirut on September 27. In the early hours on October 1, Israel announced the launch of a ground operation in Lebanon’s border areas.
