Nikolay Patrushev added that further instigation of the illegal activity on Ukraine’s territory would certainly "shed light on the real purposes of such experiments by the United States and its allies"

ASTRAKHAN, April 27. /TASS/. The outbreaks of infectious diseases that occur in some countries may be connected with the activity of biolaboratories, deployed by Washington and its allies, the secretary of Russia’s Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev, told a conference on security issues in southern Russia.

He recalled that after the Soviet Union’s breakup the United States and its satellites created a chain of biological laboratories in many former Soviet republics - Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Armenia - to "carry out military-biological activity disguised as scientific research."

"The outbreaks of infectious diseases that have occurred in some countries may have been directly related with the activity of such biolaboratories," Patrushev said.

He added that further instigation of this illegal activity on Ukraine’s territory would certainly "shed light on the real purposes of such experiments by the United States and its allies."
