MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has recorded a video address to Chinese citizens ahead of his upcoming visit to that country, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said.

"This year, instead of an article for the local press, we recorded our president’s video address to the people of China," he said.

Traditionally, the Russian president prepares either articles in the local press or give interviews to local television channels ahead of his foreign visits.
