Ukraine’s military bombards Donetsk from NATO-caliber artillery guns

DONETSK, June 15. /TASS/. Ukraine’s military bombarded Donetsk for the third time on Wednesday, this time firing 155mm artillery guns operational in NATO countries, the DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic) mission to the Joint Ceasefire and Control Center reported.
According to the mission’s data, at 14:48, the Ukrainian troops fired three 155mm shells against the Kuibyshevksy district of Donetsk. Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian military fired 122mm and 152mm artillery guns against Donetsk, it said.
The city came under intensive bombardments on the evening of June 13 when the Ukrainian military fired multiple launch rocket systems, artillery guns and also 155mm launchers in service with NATO countries.
Western countries, including Canada and the United States, earlier supplied 155mm M777 howitzers and ammunition to Ukraine. It was also reported that the Ukrainian military was using French 155mm Caesar self-propelled artillery guns.
