MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. American mass media outlets are steadily losing their grip on reality and are getting more unhinged as the US presidential election gets closer, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said in the wake of US media rumors that President Donald Trump was in debt to Moscow, because he had allegedly laundered money through Russia.
"As another presidential election draws near, many US media outlets in their anti-Trump and pro-Trump campaigns are losing their sense of reality and are becoming unhinged," Peskov noted. "These types of rumors and media politics should be treated with a grain of salt."
Earlier, Peskov said the media campaign by the United States was continuing unabated.
"The attack never lets up and is perpetual," Peskov said on October 4.
