Family of three injured in drone attack in borderline Belgorod Region
As a result of a drone munition dropped onto a private homestead a family of three - a married couple and their 16-year-old son - were injured
BELGOROD, July 3. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have dropped a munition from a drone on a village in Russia’s borderline region of Belgorod, injuring three people, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
"As a result of a drone munition dropped onto a private homestead in the village of Novostroevka-Vtoraya, a family of three - a married couple and their 16-year-old son - were injured," he wrote.
The regional governor added that the injured people with concussion and shrapnel wounds came to the Grayvoron hospital on their own. After being given first aid, they will be transferred to hospitals in the city of Belgorod.
In the village of Mokraya Orlovka, the roofs and fences in two private homesteads were damaged with shrapnel during a shelling attack. In the village of Dronovka, a power supply line was damaged in shelling, so the local people are temporary left without electricity.
Gladkov said that the details are being verified, and house-to-house inspections will be continued in daylight hours.
