First responders are working at the scene and power supply has been cut off in the settlements of Mamay, Trostan, Druzhba, Novskoye and Dubrovka
MOSCOW, March 21. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces attacked an oil pumping station of the Druzhba pipeline in the Bryansk Region with a drone, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on Tuesday.
"Ukrainian forces used a drone to attack the territory of Transneft’s Novozybkov oil pumping station. There have been no casualties," he said on Telegram.
First responders are working at the scene and electricity has been cut off in the settlements of Mamay, Trostan, Druzhba, Novskoye and Dubrovka, according to the governor.
"The power supply will be restored after operative investigation measures are completed," the governor said.
"The trunk oil pipeline Druzhba is operating as usual. Transportation goes through the southern thread toward Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and according to the current schedule, the pumping of 20,000 tons of Kazakh oil has started today along the northern thread in transit through Russia, Belarus and Poland to Germany," Transneft’s spokesman Igor Dyomin told TASS.
The Druzhba oil pipeline carries oil to Belarusian refineries and to Europe. The pipeline originates in the Samara Region, transits through Bryansk and then branches into northern and southern threads that run through Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Hungary.
