Russia’s National Wealth Fund totals 13.104 trillion rubles on July 1 — Finance Ministry
As of July 1, the National Wealth Fund held 189.8 bln Chinese yuan and 141.1 metric tons of gold in accounts with the Bank of Russia
MOSCOW, July 3. /TASS/. Russia's National Wealth Fund totaled 13.104 trillion rubles as of July 1, 2026, or 5.6% of the country's projected 2026 GDP, according to data published on the Russian Finance Ministry's website. The value of the National Wealth Fund was equivalent to $168.5 bln.
The fund's liquid assets totaled 3.61 trillion rubles as of July 1, or 1.5% of Russia's projected 2026 GDP, which is equivalent to $46.4 bln. As of June 1, the fund's liquid assets stood at 3.41 trillion rubles ($44.11 bln).
In June, funds from Russia's National Wealth Fund totaling 8.8 bln rubles ($113.84 mln) were converted into 786.4 mln Chinese yuan.
"In June 2026, National Wealth Fund assets totaling 8,762.8 mln rubles ($113.36 mln) were converted into 786.4 mln Chinese yuan. In June 2026, foreign currency funds totaling 3,460.6 mln Chinese yuan and 5,150.3 kg of unallocated gold, acquired using federal budget funds between January 2025 and February 2026 as a result of additional federal oil and gas revenues, were credited to the National Wealth Fund's Chinese yuan and gold accounts," the statement said.
The total estimated income from placing National Wealth Fund assets in foreign currency accounts with the Bank of Russia amounted to $53.6 mln, or about 4.2 bln rubles, for the period from December 15, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
At the same time, the revaluation of the fund's foreign currency assets and changes in the value of gold resulted in a total negative adjustment of 27.4 bln rubles ($354.46 mln) in the first half of 2026.
As of July 1, the National Wealth Fund held 189.8 bln Chinese yuan and 141.1 metric tons of gold in accounts with the Bank of Russia.
