VILNIUS, November 19. /TASS/. The telecommunication cable between Lithuania and Sweden, with its damage becoming known on Monday, can be restored within two weeks, Arelion, the cable operator, told TASS.
"The fiber-optic cable will be repaired during one or two week if weather conditions allow," a company spokesperson said.
"We have not yet inspected the cable, so we know nothing about causes of damage, " he noted. Arelion is not participating in the investigation opened on the damage fact.

Two cables were damaged in the Baltic Sea on November 17-18. One of them connects Germany and Finland and the other one links Sweden and Lithuania.
