According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Russia exported 38.1 mln metric tons of grain in the agricultural year of 2021-2022, including 30.7 mln metric tons of wheat

KAZAN, July 7. /TASS/. Russia can export up to 55 mln metric tons of grain in the agricultural year of 2023-2024 [July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024 - TASS], Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev said on Friday.

"We already have plans to supply up to 55 mln metric tons of grain crops to international markets in the new season. This is a very decent figure as a matter of principle. This is if the harvest grows; our domestic consumption is actually constant and more or less stable. Therefore, the export potential can also be increased," the minister noted.

Friendly countries account for about 87% in the export structure, Patrushev said. "We are supplying our grain to those really need it," he added.
