ST. PETERSBURG, June 15. /TASS/. No global economic crisis scenario has come to pass, Central Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Naliullina said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"We are criticized by market participants for speaking often about
some risks. But, indeed, we are preparing for those risks. You cannot meet the risk properly unless you are ready for it. What has not occurred from our risk scenario is that no economic crisis has come to pass," she said.
Russia’s economy and business have developed under a scenario of accelerated adjustment to new realities, Nabiullina added. "Our enterprises have adjusted to the new conditions very quickly," she said.
