110 Ukrainian drones destroyed, intercepted — Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/. Russian air defense units intercepted and destroyed 110 Ukrainian drones over the country's regions, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"During the night of May 25 from 00:00 a.m. Moscow time (09:00 p.m. GMT) to 07:00 a.m. (04:00 a.m. GMT), air defenses on duty destroyed and intercepted 110 Ukrainian fixed-wing type unmanned aerial vehicles: 16 - over the territory of the Tula Region, 14 - over each of the Bryansk and Kaluga Regions, 13 - over each of the Moscow and Tver Regions, 10 - over each of the Belgorod and Kursk Regions, 8 - over the Orlov Region, 7 - over the Republic of Crimea, 2 - over the Smolensk Region, and 1 - over the Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Novgorod Regions," the ministry said.

Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on his Telegram channel that there were no casualties or damage following the drone elimination. Emergency services are working at the scene.

There were no damage or casualties in the Orlov Region either. "Checks are being carried out at the scene of the incidents," Governor Andrey Klychkov wrote on Telegram.

Acting Governor of the Novgorod Region Alexander Dronov announced the downing of one unmanned aerial vehicle. "One fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle was downed over the territory of the Novgorod Region. There are no casualties or damage," he wrote on Telegram.
