LUGANSK, December 21. /TASS/. Six ceasefire violations by Ukrainian troops were reported in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the past day, a spokesman for the LPR defense ministry said on Thursday.

"The settlements of Kalinovo, Krasny Yar, Logvinovo, Kalinovo-Borshchevatoye and Golubovskoye came under shelling," LuganskInformCenter quoted him as saying.

According to the spokesman, shelling was conducted from mortars, weapons of armored vehicles and firearms.

The so-called back-to-school ceasefire has been in place in Donbass since midnight August 25. It was agreed by the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine ahead of a new academic year. After it came into effect, hostilities somewhat subsided to intensify again some time later.
