Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport operates on routine basis after bomb threat report

The airport official noted that the representatives of the corresponding authorities are currently expected to arrive

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Experts have not found any prohibited objects at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport after a passenger said he had a bomb, the airport’s press service told TASS on Monday.

"At 22:15 Moscow time, during examination near the entrance to the airport, a passenger said he had an explosive device. Security activities stipulated in such cases are being carried out. During examination, the experts did not find any substances or objects prohibited for transportation," a press service official said.

"The representatives of the corresponding authorities are currently expected to arrive," he said.

The airport official noted that one of the exits was blocked. "Flights and passengers are being serviced on a routine basis," he stressed.

Earlier, an emergency official told TASS that the airport’s territory was being checked after a passenger had said he had an explosive device.
