LATAKIA, February 26. /TASS/. The Russian reconciliation center in Syria has delivered humanitarian aid to Al Bzera - a village in mountainous Latakia, which joined ceasefire a day earlier, the center’s representative Major Vitaly Ilkov told reporters on Sunday.

"We have handed out 500kg of humanitarian assistance, organized a medical office where Russian specialists offer medical consultations," the officer said.

The food sets include flour, sugar, rice and tinned products.

"The center’s officers monitor the situation in Syria to see those in despair and offer relief to them," he added. "The situation here is not simple, there are poor villages, very many people are in destress, and we are helping the locals.".
