Syrian troops discover cache of toxic substances in Aleppo

According to the agency’s sources, terrorists from the outlawed Nusrah Front have turned a school in the eastern Hanano district into a workshop to produce toxic chemicals

BEIRUT, December 7. /TASS/. Syrian government troops have come across a warehouse with poisonous substances in a recently liberated district of Aleppo, Syria’s SANA news agency reported late Tuesday.

According to the agency’s sources, terrorists from the outlawed Nusrah Front have turned a school in the eastern Hanano district into a workshop to produce toxic chemicals that were later used in this fall’s attacks on eastern and western Aleppo neighborhoods.

In November, chemical-laden projectiles were fired at the Nayrab district in the east and the Minyan district in the west. As a result, dozens of civilians and servicemen were hospitalized suffering from asphyxia.

On October 31, projectiles containing chlorine landed in the Al Hamdaniyeh neighborhood in the southern part of the city. A total of 48 people were injured.
