Moscow and Brussels call for boosting efforts in war on terror

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov has had a meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions of European Union states and the head of Brussels’ delegation to Russia

MOSCOW, December 6 /TASS/. Moscow and the EU have stressed the importance of boosting cooperation in the struggle against terrorism, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday after a meeting between the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov and the heads of diplomatic missions of European Union states and the head of Brussels’ delegation to Russia.

"They discussed terrorist threats that the global community and Russia both face. The parties stressed the importance of boosting Russia-EU cooperation in that sphere," the Russian Foreign Ministry stated.
