Pyotr Poroshenko’s administration said earlier the two leaders discussed the possibility of holding a Normandy Four meeting in late November

BERLIN, November 21. /TASS/. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko have discussed efforts to develop a roadmap on the implementation of the Minsk agreements during a telephone conversation, a source in the German government told TASS on Monday.

"I can confirm that the chancellor had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President (Pyotr) Poroshenko," the source said. "I cannot say what exactly they discussed, but the conversation focused on the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the development of the roadmap (on the implementation of the Minsk accords)."

Poroshenko’s administration said earlier in the day that the two leaders discussed the possibility of holding a meeting of the "Normandy Four" foreign ministers in late November. The two sides also raised the issue of the liberalization of the visa regime between Ukraine and the EU and preparations for the Ukraine-EU summit to be held in Berlin on November 24.
