MINSK, October 5. /TASS/. The Contact Group on settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday in the Belarusian capital Minsk.
The meeting was to continue work to establish security areas on the disengagement line in Donbass, which was started in Minsk last time. But the first stage of the plan ended two days ago in a failure. Out of the three outlined sections, disengagement failed on two.
As a result, the entire settlement roadmap is in question.
In the current conditions, today’s meeting in Donbass will make it possible to understand whether the disruption of the schedule of troops withdrawal is a temporary technical failure or the result of Kiev’s deliberate set for blocking of the entire peace process.
