North Korea eyes joining future International Army Games

First-ever games opened in Russia on August 1, assembling 57 teams representing 17 countries in exercises on 11 military fields

MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. A senior officer from North Korea's armed forces says he wants his country's units to join future International Army Games.

First-ever games opened in Russia on August 1, assembling 57 teams representing 17 countries in exercises on 11 military fields.

Lieutenant-General Choi Chan-sik, heading a North Korean delegation, announced the wish to join after viewing this year's tank competitions, Russia's Defense Ministry said.
