Some reports say that among the victims of the blast in El-Arish was the head of local detective bureau.

Security forces say that a car exploded near a police office, breaking windows in buildings as far as a kilometer away from the site.

Earlier on Sunday, six officers were killed in an explosion targeting a military vehicle in Sheikh Zuweid in Egypt’s North Sinai.
