MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Azov battalion is attacking militias’ positions near Mariupol, the spokesman for the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Eduard Basurin, has told a news briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
"The Azov battalion is involved in clashes in the area of Shirokino, Basurin said. "The militias are in control of the village."
Last night the Ukrainian forces lost 15 men killed and as many injured, he said, adding that two mortars were destroyed.
"Debaltsevo is fully encircled," Basurin said. "At the moment clashes are underway in the area where we cut the road, and also around Uglegorsk and in the West, where we are clearing territories."
