BRUSSELS, January 29. /TASS/. European External Action Service (EEAS) and the European Commission are expected to draft a supplementary list of individuals, whom EU deems responsible for the escalation of the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine, says a statement upon the results of an emergency meeting the Council of EU Foreign Minister that was held here on Thursday.
In addition to it, the ministers told various services of the EU to do further work on any measures that might be suitable for a brisk and comprehensive compliance with the September 2014 Minsk accords.
Federica Mogherini, the High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, said however the issue of possible new economic sanctions against Russia could be raised only by the heads of state and/or government of the EU at a summit scheduled for February 12.
The decision is in their hands, she said.
