ASTANA, December 30. /TASS/. Talks in Astana involving Russian, Ukrainian, German and French leaders will be organized at any convenient time, the press service of the Kazakh president said on Tuesday.
“On its part, Kazakhstan is ready to host talks on January 15-16, 2015 or at any other time agreed by the parties,” the press service said.
During his visit to Kiev and Moscow in December, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed possible ways to come out of the Ukrainian crisis, the press service noted, This subject was also raised in nazarbayve’s telephone conversations with Presidents Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine and Francois Hollande of France, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“During talks with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin, an agreement was reached on a possible meeting between the leaders of the two countries with participation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande,” the press service said.
