LUHANSK, October 20. /TASS/. The Central Election Commission of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic has finished the registration of candidates for the head of the republic’s chief and seats on the People’s Council. There are four candidates for the position of the republic’s leader: the incumbent, Igor Plotnitsky, trades union federation chief Oleg Akimov, Health Minister Larisa Airapetyan and Businessman Viktor Penner.
“Of the nine party lists, three movements have been registered — Peace for Luhansk Land, the Luhansk Economic Union, and People’s Union,” the Novorossiya press-center said.
