SEOUL, September 6 (Itar-Tass) - North Korea fired three ballistic missiles at the Sea of Japan on Saturday, a South Korean military source said.
The missiles were fired between 07:00 and 07:30 local time (02:00-02:30 Moscow time) from a site east of the city of Wonsan and flew about 210 km.
South Korea’s armed forces remained on alert and monitored movement of North Korean forces, a source of the South Korean committee of chiefs of staff said.
South Korean specialists supposed Pyongyang tested new tactical missiles.
It was the 19th launch this year. North Korea has fired a total of 111 missiles in 2014, the South Korean source said.
