Iran’s Sepahan Air passenger aircraft crashes - agency

About 40 passengers were onboard

(Adds details) ¶ TEHRAN, August 10 /ITAR-TASS/. A passenger aircraft of a local airline Sepahan Air (Hesa Air) crashed to the north-west from Tehran, IRNA reported on Sunday.

The aircraft, which headed from Tehran to Tabas crashed immediately after the takeoff. About 40 passengers were onboard. The airport in Tehran says the flight was operated by an Antonov An-140 plane.
