MOSCOW, June 23. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin had a telephone talk with Azerbaijani counterpart Ilkham Aliyev on Monday to discuss regional issues, including the Nagorno Karabakh settlement.

“Russia said it was ready to contribute to resolving the Karabakh issue,” the Kremlin press service said.

“Putin and Aliyev noted the high level of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation and agreed to intensify relations,” the press service said.
