KIEV, April 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s Party of Regions, enjoying support in the country’s south-east, says it wants to take part in negotiations between Ukraine, the European Union, Russia and the United States.
“The Party of Regions will speak on behalf of south-eastern regions of Ukraine,” the party’s press service said on Thursday, announcing it may commission Mykhailo Dibkin, a presidential contender who had “won primary elections at a party congress,” as its negotiator at such talks.
Negotiations involving the four parties may convene next week in a bid to settle the crisis.
