KIEV, April 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine's former prime minister, freed prisoner and once one of the country's richest businesswomen yulia Tymoshenko, has published her property ownership declaration on the Central Election Committee website to record possession of only a private apartment of 59.4 square meters.
The Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) Party leader, sentenced to 7 years in jail in 2011 for authority abuse when signing gas contracts with Russia two years before, gives her 2013 income as 180,000 Ukrainian hryvnias, equal to 570,000 Russian rubles, the record says.
Tymoshenko, released from prison on a Ukrainian parliamentary vote in February this year, has been nominated a candidate for Ukraine’s snap presidential election, scheduled for May 25, and has been registered by the country’s election commission.
The politician was Ukraine’s prime minister from February to September 2005. She was re-elected for the same office in December 2007 and held the position unil March 2010.
