KIEV, March 30, /ITAR-TASS/. All the five persons who died in a Sunday traffic accident in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region were Moldovan citizens, the press service of the Donetsk region administration reported.
According to the Ukrainian state service for emergency situations, the deadly accident took place at the 658th kilometre of Odessa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk highway near village Lebedinskoye as the driver of a minibus registered in Moldova lost control of the vehicle. The minibus went off the road and hit a tree, killing five persons on injuring 16 more.
An investigation is underway.
