KIEV, March 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine has tightened control on the border with Russia by sending personnel of the Ukrainian Security Service to help border guards, a senior Ukrainian security official told a news conference on Tuesday.
"Border posts in the Chernigov region have been reinforced with representatives of our security bodies," Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Andriy Parubiy said.
"Double control is effective in the Chernigov region, in the east and the south, and additional check is in effect at entry points to Crimea," the National Security and Defense Council secretary said.
