Russia insists on using Yarmouk, Homs humanitarian experience in other areas

MOSCOW, February 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia insists experience of Yarmouk and Homs be used in other areas of Syria, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after a meeting within the 2+2 format on Thursday.

“We’ve succeeded in resolving issues related to the delivery of humanitarian aid to old quarters of Homs and the Palestinian refugee camp of Yarmouk although militants tried to create obstacles for the successful operation,” Lavrov said.

“The experience of Homs and Yarmouk is in demand,” the minister said, adding “We urge the Western and regional partners, who have influence upon the opposition’s detachments, to use it in order to block down these points and deliver humanitarian aid there."
