KIEV, February 05 /ITAR-TASS/. Protesters who seized the building of the regional state administration of the city of Rovno, west Ukraine, on January 23 vacated it on Wednesday, the local mass media report.
On January 23, several thousand protesters occupied the building of the regional administration of the city of Rovno and proclaimed the establishment of the alternative local self-government body “People’s Rada”. They also announced the formation of home guards’ units.
The Rovno court later prohibited the formation of the “People’s Rada”.
