German president meet Ukrainian opposition leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk

MUNICH, January 31, /ITAR-TASS/. German President Joachim Gauck met with the leader of the Ukrainian opposition party Batkivshchnina’s (Fatherland) parliament faction, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, on Friday.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference that opened here on Friday, the press secretary of the German president said, providing no further details.

Another Ukrainian opposition leader, Vitaliy Klitschko of the UDAR party is also expected to attend the conference.
