MOSCOW, January 16. /ITAR-TASS/. Results of the voting on a draft constitution in Egypt on January 14-15 create a good base to continue reforms, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday.
“Mass media report that Egyptian citizens took an active part in the voting. The results will be announced later. According to preliminary reports, over half of registered electors took part in the elections,” the ministry said.
“About 95 percent of electors voted for the draft constitution,” the ministry said, adding “The procedure of voting corresponds to international standards.
