KIEV, December 27, 15:17 /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine will come to agreement with the European Union on a gas consortium sooner or later, Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov said on Friday.
“Ukraine’s gas transport system has not modernised for 30 years. Why should Ukraine bear costs alone? We propose the EU: let’s create a consortium and let’s take part in modernising it jointly. This is our position: I believe that we’ll agree on it sooner or later,” Azarov said.
