Ukrainian parliament speaker to raise issue of no-confidence in government

KIEV, December 02. /ITAR-TASS/. Speaker of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada (parliament) Vladimir Rybak has stated that on Tuesday the lawmakers would consider the issue of the country’s government resignation, “as the opposition demands.”

He told reporters on Monday, “I will bring up the issue of no-confidence in the government for discussion at the Verkhovna Rada. There are the rules of procedure, there is the law.” He said that if the Verkhovna Rada makes the decision to consider the issue of the government resignation without the decision of the relevant committee, then “we will consider it without the committee decision, with violation, because of the current political situation.
