Russia and China to hold anti-terrorist exercise in Chelyabinsk

The exercises will take place at the Cherbarkul firing range from July 27 to August 15

BEIJING, July 25 (Itar-Tass) - About 1,500 Russian and Chinese servicemen will take part in the Peace Mission 2013 anti-terrorist exercises, Chinese Defence Ministry spokesman Gen Yansheng said.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the spokesman said, “The Chinese and Russian Armed Forces will conduct the anti-terrorist exercises at the Cherbarkul firing range from July 27 to August 15.”

“The exercises will be held in three stages and include the redeployment of troops, the planning of the operation and joint military actions. Due to this fact China will send transport, self-propelled guns, as well as planes and helicopters,” Gen added.
