IAEA aware of reports of Ukrainian attack on ZNPP, examines them

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called on the Agency to "clearly state that the danger to the nuclear power plant comes from Ukraine"

VIENNA, April 5. /TASS/. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is aware about the Russian reports about Ukrainian attacks on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and examines them, in cooperation with the expert group currently present at the plant, the IAEA press office told TASS.

"We are aware of these reports and we are examining them. We stay in contact with the IAEA group at the plant. Currently, we have no information we could share," the agency said in response to a request for a comment on the statement, made by Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, who called on the Agency to "clearly state that the danger to the nuclear power plant comes from Ukraine".
