Mads Mikkelsen plans to return to Moscow as a tourist

The actor said he is familiar with Russian and Soviet cinema

MOSCOW, February 18. /TASS/. Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen who came to Moscow to attend the premiere of his new movie "Arctic" has told TASS that he would want to visit Moscow as a tourist in the future.

He said that this is his third visit to Russia. "Russia is the biggest country in the world, so there is so much I want to see," Mikkelsen said. "I plan to come back and be a tourist one day, and maybe visit St. Petersburg," he added.

The actor said he is familiar with Russian and Soviet cinema. He particularly noted Elem Klimov's 1985 film "Come and See."

"This film is so brutal, so realistic, and heartbreaking at the same time," Mikkelsen said.

Mikkelsen has arrived to Moscow on Sunday and has already visited the Red Square.
