Buckingham Palace says Charles III continues to carry out his duties

On January 26, 75-year-old King Charles III underwent a routine surgery for an enlarged prostate

LONDON, March 18. /TASS/. The office of UK King Charles III has refuted the rumors about his death spread by several media.

"<…> We are happy to confirm that The King is continuing with official and private business," the Buckingham Palace told a TASS correspondent.

On January 26, 75-year-old King Charles III underwent a routine surgery for an enlarged prostate. During the procedure, the monarch was diagnosed with cancer, Buckingham Palace announced in early February. The King has suspended his public duties and is undergoing treatment.

Although the type of cancer has not been specified, several statements about the condition of Charles III have been released over the past month, as well as photographs, including one of an audience with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. The audience is usually held behind closed doors.
