Madrid approves over 237mln euros in aid to Ukraine until 2027

MADRID, December 27. /TASS/. The Spanish Council of Ministers has approved an agreement with the European Commission (EC) to provide Ukraine with multimillion-dollar financial aid, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares wrote on his X page (formerly known as Twitter).

"The government has approved the agreement between Spain and the EC to provide maximum of 237.5 million euros in financial aid to Ukraine in 2024-2027," the post said.

"Spain remains firmly committed to supporting Ukraine in its protection of peace, freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity," the minister said.
