MINSK, March 13. /TASS/. OSCE Special Representative Martin Sajdik believes that the first results of the "spring ceasefire" in Donbass declared on March 8 have been unsatisfactory, he told reporters in the Belarussian capital on Wednesday after a regular meeting of the Contact Group seeking peace for east Ukraine.

"A few days ago, the security subgroup confirmed its compliance with the ceasefire starting from March 8," he said. "In the first days ceasefire violations decreased by 61%, compared to the beginning of the month. Regrettably, the results of that ceasefire are unsatisfactory at the moment," he added.

Sajdik urged the parties to the conflict "to do their utmost to ensure a reliable, sustainable and lasting ceasefire."

According to the information that the mission of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire (JCCC) provided at the Minsk meeting, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have opened fire 32 times at DPR since the "spring ceasefire" came into force.
