Acting Venezuelan Vice President, Russian foreign minister to meet in Moscow

The sides plan to discuss the situation in Venezuela, the protection of UN principles, as well as joint projects

GENEVA, February 27. /TASS/. Venezuela’s Acting Vice President Delcy Rodriguez will visit Moscow on March 1 in order to discuss the situation in the republic, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza informed on Wednesday.

"She plans to meet with minister Lavrov. Of course, [there will be a discussion] of the situation in Venezuela, of the coordination of actions aimed to halt any attempts to start a war against Venezuela. [They will discuss] the protection of UN principles along with Russia, as well as joint projects," the minister noted.

In response to a question about Caracas requesting military aid from Moscow, Arreaza highlighted the role of military-technical cooperation between the two countries. "It will continue to develop in the future," he added.
