MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. Numerous ceasefire violations by militants operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone were reported in Syria’s Latakia and Hama governorates over the past day, chief of the Russian Center for reconciliation of conflicting sides Sergei Solomatin said on Friday.

"Ceasefire violations by illegal armed groups operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone continue. Thus, during the day shelling attacks were reported in the settlement of Beit Ziwan in the Latakia governorate and northwestern suburbs of the settlement of Suran in the Hama governorate," he said.

Apart from that, according to Solomatin, officers of the Russian reconciliation center conducted a humanitarian operation in the settlement of Tell Bisa in the Homs governorate. As many as 450 bags with food products were handed out to civilians.

The Russian reconciliation center continues to fulfill assigned tasks after the completion of the military campaign in Syria. The center’s officers regularly travel around the country's liberated areas to assess the humanitarian situation. The main efforts of the Russian military are now focused on assistance to the refugees returning to their homes.
