Ukrainian drone crossing contact line downed near Gorlovka in DPR

It was an assault drone with a flame liquid shell, spokesman for the DPR’s defense ministry clarified

DONERSK, November 25. /TASS/. A Ukrainian drone was downed by militias of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic when it was crossing the contact line near Gorlovka, Daniil Bezsonov, a spokesman for the DPR’s defense ministry said on Sunday.

"Our air defense downed another Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle, which crossed the contact line this night," the Donetsk News Agency quoted him as saying. "It was an assault drone with a flame liquid shell."

According to Bezsonov, the drone was downed over the settlement of Panteleimonovka near Gorlovka, practically over residential houses. On Saturday, Ukrainian troops used drones with incendiary weapons to shell dwelling quarters in Paneteleimonovka.

The agreements reached at the meetings of the Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine allow only monitors of the OSCE Monitoring Mission to use unmanned aerial vehicles in regions adjacent to the contact line in Donbass.
