Four Syrian soldiers wounded in shelling by militants in Hama governorate

The Russian reconciliation center said that shelling attacks were also reported at the settlement of Safsara in the Latakia governorate and Aleppo's northwestern suburb

MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. Four Syrian servicemen were wounded in a shelling attack staged by militants at a populated locality in the Hama governorate, chief of the Russian Center for reconciliation of the conflicting sides Sergei Solomatin said on Friday.

"During the day, shelling attacks were reported at the western suburbs of the settlement of Safsara in the Latakia governorate, the settlement of Tell Bazzam in the Hama governorate and Aleppo’s northwestern suburb. As a result of shellings, four Syrian servicemen were wounded in the settlement of Tell Bazzam," he said.

According to Solomatin, officers of the Russian reconciliation center conducted a humanitarian operation in the settlement of Tesnin in the Homs governorate. As many as 450 bags with food products with an overall weight of about two tonnes were handed out to civilians.

The Russian reconciliation center continues to fulfill assigned tasks after the completion of the military campaign in Syria. The center’s officers regularly travel around the country's liberated areas to assess the humanitarian situation. The main efforts of the Russian military are now focused on assistance to the refugees returning to their homes.
