Humanitarian operation conducted by Russian military in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor governorate

Apart from that, a targeted charity operation was conducted in Damascus

MOSCOW, November 18. /TASS/. Officers of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria conducted a humanitarian operation delivering food products to civilians in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor governorate, the Center’s chief Vladimir Savchenko said on Sunday.

"A humanitarian operation was conducted in the settlement of Hsham in the Deir ez-Zor governorate. A total of 450 bags with food were distributed amonf civilians," he said.

Apart from that, a targeted charity operation was conducted in Damascus. "Twenty-five wheelchairs, 25 towels and 25 warn blankets were delivered to a specialized institute for disabled war veterans," he said.

He also said that ceasefire violations by illegal armed groups operating in the Idlib de-escalation zone continue. Thus, during the past day shelling attacks were reported from Aleppo’s and Hama’s suburbs and the settlement of Safsara in the Latakia governorate.

Russian reconciliation center

The Russian reconciliation center continues to fulfill assigned tasks after the completion of the military campaign in Syria. The center’s officers regularly travel around the country's liberated areas to assess the humanitarian situation. The main efforts of the Russian military are now focused on assistance to the refugees returning to their homes.
