LUGANSK, November 18. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military shelled the militia’s positions in the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) five times in the past 24 hours, a source in the republic’s defense ministry informed on Sunday.

"The settlements of Zolotoye-5, Frunze, Zhelobok and Pankovka came under fire," the Luganskinformcenter news agency stated.

The Ukrainian military’s attacks involved mortars, armored personnel carriers, anti-aircraft guns and small arms.

The Contact Group seeking peace in eastern Ukraine agreed another ceasefire on the occasion of the beginning of the school year. The ‘back-to-school ceasefire’ came into force at midnight on August 29.
